In March 2018, Gossips bemoaned the loss of trees and shrubs around 6 West Court Street.
Today, two years later, when the house has a different owner and is ongoing an extensive restoration, the silver maple beside it, which had been spared in the initial assault, came down.

ReplyDeleteIt is news every time we lose a big tree that took 100 years to grow. Once they are mostly gone we will have a charmless town full of historic buildings.
