COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been five new cases of COVID-19 and three more hospitalizations. One of those now hospitalized is in the ICU. There have been six more recoveries, and test results for 178 Columbia County residents have been received. Mercifully, there have been no more deaths.
As of 3 p.m. on May 14, 2020:
  • Columbia County has had 24 community members that have passed away from COVID-19
  • 333 positive cases of COVID-19
  • 150 of the 333 cases have recovered from COVID-19
  • 11 of the positive cases are hospitalized, 1 of those hospitalized are in the ICU
  • We have received 2,734 test results completed for Columbia County residents
  • 151 residents are under mandatory quarantine and 7 under precautionary quarantine
Tomorrow the CCDOH will release the numbers for each municipality and for the nursing homes.
