Grants from the Business Continuity Fund

On April 24, Columbia Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) and the Berkshire Taconic Community Fund (BTCF) announced the award of nearly $190,000 in grants to 92 small businesses in Columbia County from the Columbia County Business Continuity Fund, a fund made possible by the contributions of individuals, foundations, and businesses. Yesterday, CEDC and BTCF released the names of the businesses that were the recipients of the grants 

The businesses receiving the grants met key criteria, including being located in city, town, or village center, being open to the public and reliant on foot traffic, and having fewer than ten full-time employees and less than $1 million in annual revenue. Ninety percent of the grants were for $1,500 or $2,500.
