Following Up: The Great Preservation Bake Off

Last week, Gossips announced that Pooky Amsterdam's cookie creation "Crown of New York City" had been chosen by the Preservation League of New York State as its winner and entry in The Great Preservation Bake Off.

Yesterday, the overall winner was announced, and, alas, it was not the "Crown of New York City." Instead it was a three-foot-tall replica of the U.S. Customs House in Lower Manhattan, created by Bill Schutz of Creative Cakes and submitted by Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts
