As it does every Friday, the Columbia County Department of Health has released its breakdown of COVID-19 cases by municipality and nursing home. In the past week, there have been 66 new cases.
There were no new cases reported at any of the nursing homes this week. Of the municipalities, Greenport had the greatest number of new cases with twelve. Claverack and Kinderhook each had seven; Copake and Hudson each had six; Hillsdale had five; Ancram and Livingston each had four; Austerlitz, Gallatin, Germantown, and Taghkanic each had two; and Chatham, Clermont, Ghent, New Lebanon, Philmont, Stuyvesant, and Valatie each had one new case of COVID-19.
As always, in the list below, the first number is the number of cases reported last Friday; the second number is the number of cases reported today. These are total numbers of cases since the first case was reported in Columbia County on March 20. The number of active cases in the county today is 63, the same as it was last Friday.
