The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been thirteen new cases of COVID-19 and eight recoveries, which would seem to increase the number of active cases by five to 68, but the CCDOH is reporting 67. There are five more county residents hospitalized with the virus today than yesterday, one of whom is in the ICU. There has not been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since Monday, November 30.

With thirteen positives out of 523 test results received, the positive percentage rate for today is 2.5 percent. The seven day rolling average, according to Gossips' calculations, is 2.4 percent--that is, 72 positives out of 3,025 test results.
