Back to Normal Tomorrow

About half an hour ago, Mayor Kamal Johnson reported on his Facebook page that the 2 million gallon plus tank that holds the City's filtered and treated water supply is expected to be back to full capacity tonight. Starting tomorrow, watering lawns and gardens, washing cars, and filling pools can once again be done without jeopardizing the City's water supply.

  1. I spoke with someone two days ago who was totally unaware of the situation. From what I saw over the weekend, people continued to use their municipal water in any way they wished.

  2. If you are not on Facebook or aware of Gossips of Rivertown, how would one know, unless checking the City's website - not easy to manoeuvre and maybe you see a bulletin and maybe you don't. Who looks at that every day? There should be a better way of getting Emergency Notices out.
