COVID-19 Update
Early this afternoon, a couple of hours after the Columbia County Department of Health reported there were 13 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the county, Robert Lagonia, supervisor for the Town of Austerlitz and chair of the Board of Supervisors Health and Human Services Committee, listed on Facebook the towns (and city) that had confirmed cases: Ancram, Livingston, Chatham, Ghent, Hillsdale, Kinderhook, Hudson, and Clermont. Four hours later, at about 6:30 p.m., Lagonia reported that there were now 17 people in Columbia County who had tested positive for the coronavirus, and there were 59 in mandatory quarantine and 80 in precautionary quarantine.
