Oakdale Plunge Raises $33,000

This year's Oakdale Plunge--the third annual plunge--was superlative in many ways. Of the three plunges, this year's plunge had the most individual donors (366), the most business sponsors (20), the most plungers (120), and raised the most money ($33,000), not to mention the weather was the coldest it's ever been for the plunge.

The Oakdale Plunge raises money for the Hudson Youth Department and Hudson Fire Department Water Rescue Team. This year, each organization will receive more than $15,000.

Next year's Oakdale Plunge has already been scheduled for Saturday, February 27.
