COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been four new cases of COVID-19 and fourteen recoveries, reducing the number of active cases by ten to 110. Twenty-seven people remain hospitalized with the virus, but no one is in the ICU. There has not been a death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since Wednesday, October 28.

With four positives out of 303 test results received, the positive percentage rate for today is 1.3 percent. The seven day rolling average, according to
Gossips' calculations, is 2.7 percent--that is, 84 positives out of 3,137 test results.
