If you feel the urge to take a road trip in the waning days of autumn, the Columbia County Historical Society has added a new itinerary to its catalog of historic excursions: Sacred Spaces (Part II). The route begins here in Hudson at Shiloh Baptist Church and ends in Hillsdale at the Krum Cemetery. Among the sites along the way is the First Presbyterian Church in Valatie, the 1878 National Register-listed church that was designed to resemble an ancient German cathedral.
