Another Holiday Tradition Goes Virtual

Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School's annual Yuletide Fair celebration is now virtual. From now through November 30, you can bid online for a large selection of items, which includes handmade clothes, ornaments, toys, jewelry, themed gift baskets, gift certificates for local businesses, and wellness treatments such as acupuncture, massage, reiki, and craniospacial. Among the featured items are a 1960s Silvertone Bobkat guitar donated by Aaron Dessner of The National, a private tour and tasting at Churchtown Dairy, a Puerto Rican vacation rental, a private photo session with Keetch Miller Photography, and this painting by the late Thomas Locker.

The auction is found at www.32auctions.com/HVWSYuletide2020. Winners of items can pick up their items at the school on Saturday, December 5, or have the items shipped to them.

Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School provides education to a diverse student body. Proceeds from the auction will support the school's ability to provide tuition assistance to more than half its students.
