Where the New COVID Cases Were This Week

As it does every Friday, the Columbia County Department of Health has released its breakdown of COVID cases by municipality and nursing home. The largest number of new cases this week was seen at Ghent Assisted Living, where there were nineteen new cases. Hudson and Kinderhook each had nine new cases; Greenport and Stockport each had seven new cases; Valatie had six; Chatham and Claverack each had three; Canaan had two; and Austerlitz, which appears on the list for the first time, Clermont, Copake, Gallatin, Ghent, Livingston, and Philmont each had one new case, and there was one new case each in two nursing homes: Barnwell and Livingston Hills.

As always, in the list below, the first number is the number of cases reported last Friday, and the second number is the number of cases reported today. These are the total number of cases since the first case was reported in Columbia County on March 20. The CCDOH is reporting that the number of active cases in the county today is 100.
