On the River This Morning

The USS Slater passed by Hudson between 11:11 and 11:15 a.m. today, about five minutes before its updated estimated arrival time.

Many were gathered, at Rick's Point, in and around riverfront park, and at the boat launch, to watch it pass, including a truck from Sweet Tree Service and the Hudson Fire Department's Tower 32, both with their ladders fully extended to give the occupants of the buckets a bird's-eye view of the passing ship.
