COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health are released today's numbers for Columbia County. Although overall, New York appears to have reached a plateau, the numbers for the county seem to reveal no particular pattern. Since yesterday, there have been four more positive cases, two more recoveries, and one more death.
As of 3:30 p.m. on April 13, 2020:
  • 93 positive cases of COVID-19
  • We are sad to report that a 9th community member has passed away from COVID-19
  • 38 of the 93 cases have recovered from COVID-19
  • 8 of the positive cases are hospitalized, 2 of those are in the ICU
  • We have received 672 test results completed for Columbia County residents
  • 84 residents are under mandatory quarantine and 21 under precautionary quarantine
  • There are 10 residents with suspected, not tested cases

  1. So nearly a month in to quarantine and still only about 1% of the county population has been tested. This is no way to stop running a rodeo.
