At this very moment, there is a special event going on, saluting the the schooner Apollonia on its voyage with the Hudson River Maritime Museum's solar-powered boat Solaris from Albany to Kingston. The announcement of this event explains: "While the commercial docks are not yet in place, we will be able to interact with these boats and exchange ideas and video testimonials. Please note that navigating the Hudson River by sail has its challenges, and while we are aiming for 6 p.m., weather and other factors may force us to adjust the timing.
