Tomorrow morning at 9:30, the Historic Preservation Commission holds a public hearing on the proposal to convert the Home for the Aged into a boutique hotel.
Ever since the Tourism Board meeting was Zoombombed last Thursday, the public has been denied participation in City Zoom meetings. This makes public hearings particularly difficult. Presumably, you can watch the public hearing on YouTube, at Hudson City Zoom Meetings, although this is not made clear on the City of Hudson website. If you want to make a comment, which is the whole point of a public hearing, you need to call 929 205-6099 and be prepared to provide the meeting ID--839 8719 4692--and the password--911749#. Once you have done that, you are assured: "When it is your turn to speak you will be greeted. We ask that you first identify yourself."
Following the public hearing, the Historic Preservation Commission will hold its regular meeting at 10:00 a.m.
