Where Are the COVID-19 Cases Now?

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its breakdown of COVID-19 cases by municipality and by nursing home. The most staggering news is that there are now 117 cases at Barnwell in Valatie. Barnwell has 216 residents, so that number is more than half the population of the nursing home, and it's more than a third of all the cases in the county.

In the list below the first number is the number of cases reported last Friday, the second number is the number of cases reported today.

Aside from Barnwell, where there were eighty new cases in the past week, the biggest increases in new cases have been in Copake (6), Hudson (5), Claverack (4), Greenport (4), and Kinderhook (4).
