The Cirkus Continues

In this in this time of social distancing and quarantine, with a future in which arts and entertainment are in the last phase for reopening, the Bindlestiff Family Circkus is doggedly carrying on. Every Monday at 7:30 p.m., Bindlestiff Open Stage: Quarantine Edition can be seen on Facebook and YouTube. Now, the Cirkus has announced a new offering: Tiny Parades throughout the city as a gesture of hope and solidarity.

The first of the Tiny Parades will take place on Thursday, May 7, from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. The route of the parade, which is marked on the map above, begins and ends at Schuyler Court and proceeds along Columbia and State streets between First and Second. The invitation to folks in the neighborhood: "Open your windows to join us from a safe distance."

There will be more parades in other neighborhoods. Dates and locations will be announced on the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Kids Facebook page.
