- At 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, the Common Council holds a special meeting. The announced subject matter of the meeting is to be the PILOT for the proposed building at 75 North Seventh Street and resolution authorizing settlements for a number of lawsuits involving assessments. When the special meeting was agreed to on April 21, Council president Tom DePietro said he would be calling for a vote on the resolution authorizing the PILOT at the special meeting. Since then, it was announced that the Benjamin Center for Public Policy at SUNY New Paltz would be doing a study of the proposed PILOT, which would be completed before the Council voted on the resolution.
