Where Are the COVID-19 Cases Now?

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its weekly breakdown of COVID-19 cases by municipality and nursing home. Countywide, there were 15 new cases in the past week. Canaan, Chatham, Ghent, and Stockport have each had one new case in the past week; Copake has had two. Eight of the new cases--more than half of them--have been at Barnwell.

In the list below, the first number indicates the number of cases last Friday; the second number indicates the number of cases today.

The CCDOH also provided an accounting of the 34 deaths: 12 were residents of Pine Haven, 17 were residents of Barnwell, and 5 were not nursing home residents.
