COVID-19 Update

The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been 6 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 16 people have recovered, reducing by 10 the number of active cases. Two fewer people are now hospitalized with COVID-19.
As of 3 p.m. on June 5, 2020:
  • Columbia County has had 34 residents that have passed away from COVID-19.
  • Columbia County has received a total of 5,726 PCR [diagnostic] test results with 400 confirmed cases.
  • There are 98 active cases of COVID-19 in Columbia County.
  • There are 43 additional residents on mandatory quarantine and 9 residents on precautionary quarantine.
  • 268 of the 400 cases have recovered from COVID-19
  • 16 of the positive cases are hospitalized, none of those hospitalized are in the ICU
  • We've received 1,558 antibody results,of which 148 were positive.
